I tried many, but this is the one and only that got it right, the perfect set of features. I just miss an API to be able to update the trackers programmatically, but this is already in the roadmap, cant wait for this feature.

Great for tracking daily habits or goals!!
Looks nice but isnt worth the price. Its hard to correct entries. There is no good overview.
Love it! Focus and be whatever it is you want to be!
Who ever wants to be a true achiever of goals cannot get around Strides! Great statistics, great graphs, easy to use
I love using strides, it works great for tracking all different kinds of goals. I mailed them asking for a folder-feature for grouping goals that belong to 1 area and they replied promptly, saying that this feature is already in development. Great customer service!!
Great app I am using for quite a while. Unfortunately the update reduced the value significantly. A lot of crashes; very, very, very slow reaction if youre logged in and the network is not available in best conditions. Please improve the situation- it would be better to have the possibility to be offline and sync to the net manually.
Ive worked as a s/w developer at similar startups: great idea, implemented beautifully by a team of most likely experienced and professional staff and the product then sentenced to death my inexperienced management. Its tragic because this app is fantastic but $5/month is just incredible. The Dropboxes and Evernotes of the world can charge that because they offer services that really change the way you work. This app, as good as it might be, at the end of the day is just a tool and not a service. Guys, my account is set up and as soon as you ask a realistic price Im right there with you. Until then, forget it.
Only a month free
Guys, congrats on this major update - web sync is definitely the way to go! But please, do us and yourselves a favour and dont go broke charging 5 bucks a month..! You will need a thousand subscribers just to cover your own costs.. People dont value these life changing apps enough to invest monthly in them. Really, if it needs to be a subscription model, try to charge just 99 cents a month just like lastpass! That will definitely bring you way more subscribers and us 60.000 free early adopters (thats really generous!!) a lasting business of your magnificent app!
Not usable since the update with sync
I bought the app long time ago and now I cant use it and they want to charge me 5 bucks per month for the same feature!!!
Im a big time procrastinator. This app kicks my ass on a regular basis. Thanks for that! :)
Its awesome, great to use, simple and good design. Its just hard to hold yourself accountable...but you dont want a red cross anywhere in your tracker :) Still not there yet, so lets go! Keep making Strides!
This *was* one of the best habit trackers in the market. Then, the super greedy developer decided getting more money w/ a paid subscription (4,99 USD/month - more expensive than Evernote premium), so he dumped on all of his customers heads who bought an "offline" version. I want my money and my data back! Very disappointed, no changes, no pure offline version. A privacy AND a business nightmare.
I tried several tools which allow me to track goals and habbits. This is the best so far, yet not perfect. 4 stars - BUT any time i send a support question, it gets answered right away. This is star no. 5. Thank you - keep on improving. :-)
By far the best habit and goal builder/tracker on the App Store. Well-designed (also in terms of "how it works"), flexible, powerful. And very actively developed. The new business model introduced with version 3 still seems overpriced, unfortunately. Previously existing users like me got a free lifetime subscription, though. Nonetheless, I doubt that the heavy monthly price tag helps to grow the user base. ;-/ Which otherwise would be well-deserved.
Logical features and easy to use
love the simplicity
I trialled several tracking apps, but Strides provided the exact features I was looking for and the best functionality. The variety of goal types allow you to not only track daily "did/didnt do it" type habits but also other kinds - e.g doing something 10 times or more per week, or wanting to reach a goal by a certain date. Its also easy to use, well designed, and provides motivating statistics. The free version allows up to 10 habits (more than most other goal tracker apps), but you can upgrade to get more.
